Lauren is the Associate Director for Student Transition and Success at º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø, where she has spent nearly a decade helping students thrive academically, personally, and professionally. With extensive experience in student coaching and support, Lauren has held key roles including Assistant Director and Coordinator for Student Success Coaching.
She holds advanced certifications in coaching strategies for higher education through the State University of New York, earning distinction for her work in developing a student success coaching mindset.
Lauren will be joining us at our September 17th E-Board meeting to share strategies and tools to help you succeed as both students and leaders. Her session will cover:

Guru Madhavan is the Norman R. Augustine Senior Scholar and senior director of programs at the National Academy of Engineering, and founding director of its Forum on Complex Unifiable Systems. A biomedical engineer with an M.S. from Stony Brook University, and a Ph.D. and M.B.A. from º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø, he has advised U.S. and EU agencies, developed medical devices, authored Applied Minds and Wicked Problems, and earned numerous awards for engineering leadership and public communication.
An alumni roundtable is an interactive, small-group discussion event that connects current students with alumni working across a range of industries. Roundtables allow students to engage directly with alumni in a more personal and conversational setting. These events are designed to foster meaningful dialogue, provide industry knowledge, and help students build their professional network.

Bio Information for Glenn Moss
Glenn is an accomplished In-House Counsel and Legal/Business Consultant with extensive experience in legal and business affairs, specializing in the nexus of media and technology. Glenn has worked closely with media executives, investors, consultants and outside counsel in digital media, IP, broadband, broadcast, cable programming, and operations. He has broad experience in successfully negotiating and closing complex transactional agreements in the private (established and start-up companies) and public sectors, and providing general legal and business affairs advice to all operating divisions (sales, marketing/advertising, IT, finance, HR, content production and distribution).Â
Examples of such agreements include media service and content distribution deals with Hallmark Media, Fuji Broadcasting, RAI Television, Google/YouTube and Meta (Facebook). Glenn’s work experience includes External General Counsel to Globecast America, Inc.; SVP, Business Affairs & Affiliate Relations at Courtroom Television Network; Associate General Counsel with Cablevision Industries; and Legal Counsel for the WNYC Communications Group. In addition, Glenn through his media consulting business, MOSSMEDIA, has provided diverse business and legal support to entities involved in Internet, OTT, cable and VOD networks, including: Imaginasiantv, Martial Arts Channel, VegasChoice, HealthiNation.com, Ziff Davis, Hispanic Information & Television Network, havoctv, Global Gaming, LLC, Asian Digital Media, duckTV, and Mana Health.  Glenn has taught a course on Negotiating Tactics, Strategies & Philosophy for the º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø School of Management’s PMBA and EMBA programs, and has offered an annual Negotiations Workshop for º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø undergrads. In addition, he has served on the Harpur College Law Council for over a decade.
Glenn is a graduate of º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø/Harpur College and Case Western University Law School. Glenn is also a published poet and short story writer.

John Toy ’89, JD is the Founder and Principal of JToy Solutions, advising on Ethics & Compliance, Sustainability & ESG, Human Resources, and Workplace Investigations. Formerly GlobalFoundries’ first global leader for Ethics & Compliance and ESG, he guided the company through its IPO and earned national recognition for corporate responsibility. He previously held senior HR roles at Boston Scientific and practiced labor and employment law. John earned his B.A. in Industrial & Labor Relations from º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø (Honors) and his J.D. from Albany Law School (cum laude).

Retired Senior Partner, Deloitte LLPÂ Â RSVP
Adam is a retired senior partner of Deloitte, where he served for 40 years, including 28 years in Audit and 12 years in Forensic Services. He was a senior practitioner in Deloitte’s Investment Management industry group and served as Lead Client Service Partner for the firm’s largest hedge fund client. Adam also played key roles as an advisory partner and fraud specialist on many of Deloitte’s most complex audit and advisory engagements in the financial services sector.  A frequent speaker and published author, Adam has addressed topics such as accounting complexity, anti-fraud programs, and industry trends. He was also selected as a Civilian Fellow at the 2017 U.S. Army War College National Security Seminar.

Arianna Cammisa is a Mental Health Specialist at º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø's B-Healthy initiative, where she leads efforts to build a supportive, inclusive campus culture and strengthen student belonging. She develops and delivers evidence-informed wellness programs, promotes preventative policies, and collaborates with faculty and staff to integrate mental health strategies into the classroom.
Arianna holds a Master of Science in Developmental Psychology from the University of East Anglia, where she graduated with distinction, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø. Her work focuses on increasing mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and expanding access to on-campus resources through engaging workshops, outreach, and strategic partnerships across the campus community.
Gary Yang is Director of Commercial Finance for the Americas at Cognex Corporation, partnering with Sales and Global Marketing on financial planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives. Previously, he led EU Strategic & Commercial Finance at Wayfair, launching Wayfair Ireland and driving market strategy across the UK, Germany, and Ireland. He has also held roles at Walmart eCommerce, KPMG, and as an independent consultant. A º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø School of Management graduate with a B.S. in Finance, Leadership, and Accounting, Gary has expertise in brand financials, forecasting, market launches, and strategic partnerships.
