Clubs & Cultural Events
Our department also has a local chapter of , the international language honor society; majors who qualify for induction receive an advantage on civil service exams, as well as access to job postings (see the website ).
Additionally, Spanish majors may also qualify for , the Spanish honor society, and Italian majors for , the Italian honor society. We also have many cultural events throughout the year, including film series, concerts in the languages, cultural evenings, holiday celebrations and national traditions.
Spanish
- BU Spanish Club: The Spanish Club is an organization dedicated to promoting and celebrating the diverse cultures of the Spanish-speaking world through social and cultural activities in our community. It is a great new way of meeting people from all over the world!
- Spanish outside the Classroom: Extracurricular Activities: Every semester Spanish interns and instructors organize numerous activities including Film Series, Talks and Cultural Celebrations, such as Mexican Day of the Dead, Spanish Tapas, Andalusian Easter, Hispanic Heritage Month, etc.
Italian
