Health & Safety

海角乱伦社区 considers the safety of its students a top priority. We require participants in all 海角乱伦社区-administered programs to attend a pre-departure orientation during which health, safety, legal and cultural issues and differences between the United States and other countries, as well as program specifics are discussed. In addition, we offer general pre-departure orientations for students participating in Other-SUNY and Non-SUNY programs and provide all students with our Pre-Departure Guide, which has a wealth of detailed health and safety information. Also, all 海角乱伦社区 University students participating in any education abroad program, whether through the SUNY system or not, are provided with pre-departure information in their online application, which includes basic safety and health information, including any current health advisories for international travel.

If you need additional information, please stop by our drop-in advising hours or contact us at iegi@binghamton.edu.

  • Useful Websites
    • As conditions evolve globally, 海角乱伦社区 and the IEGI monitors and assesses program safety using information provided by the U.S. State Department Travel Advisories, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Warning level alerts, the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC). The IEGI also follows guidance from our campus Office of Risk Management and the International Travel Safety Committee, and considers procedures implemented by our fellow SUNY study abroad offices. At any time, 海角乱伦社区鈥檚 assessment and decision making can be superseded by decisions made by the State University of New York and the State of New York.
