B-Healthy 'Move Your Way' Program
Healthier students, faculty and staff mean a healthier University.
Move Your Way program is committed to promoting inclusivity and providing accessible options for all individuals, regardless of their ability or experience. We strive to provide a supportive environment that allows people to come together and live a life of wellness.
Students
Join challenges that support healthy activity throughout the Spring and Fall semesters. Challenges are posted on B-Engaged.
Faculty and Staff
- Submit as an individual:
Each month track your activity to be entered to win various prizes! - Join a team!
Members must register for a specific team or department to be eligible for the team awards. Teams must consist of at least three people; there is no maximum. A team/department designation can be adjusted at any time by emailing bhealthy@binghamton.edu with the team designation/name.
Monthly Challenges
For faculty and staff only. To be eligible for monthly rewards, all activity must be sent by the last day of the month. Challenges are announced through our Move Your Way email alerts. Sign up for email reminders and tips throughout the year! Individual awards will be confirmed via e-mail and mailed to on-campus addresses. Other contest winners will be notified via e-mail.
Take pride in your goals! Share with us photos of how you are participating in monthly challenges. Tag @bhealthybingu on Instagram or submit a photo on the "log" form.

Individual Challenge: Aug. 25鈥31
Challenge: Try five fruits or vegetables you've never had or haven't had in a long
time
Prize: Vegetable Chopper or recipe book
Track It: Upload a collage or five photos of each item with a one-sentence review.

Individual Challenge: Sept. 22鈥28
Challenge: Do yoga, meditation, or stretching for at least 10 minutes a day
Prize: Yoga Mat or Block
Track It: Photo of your stretch/yoga setup or submit a daily log.

Group Challenge: 鈥淒e-Stress Squad鈥 Sept. 22鈥28
Objective: Groups commit to practicing at least 10 minutes of mindfulness, stretching,
or meditation together each day
Prize: TBD
How to Participate:
- Form small accountability groups
- Choose a daily time (before work, lunch, etc.) to meet in person or virtually
- Share a group photo, quote, or 1-sentence reflection on how the session felt
- Bonus: Try a different method each day (e.g., deep breathing, guided meditation, desk
- Track it: Picture of your group or members doing yoga

Individual Challenge: Sept. 29鈥揙ct. 5
Challenge: Eat one apple each day
Prize: Russell Farms Voucher
Track It: Apple photo diary or 鈥淢y Apple Week鈥 creative story with images.

Individual Challenge: Nov. 24鈥30
Challenge: Journal what makes you happy every day
Prize: Guided Journal or Planner
Track It: Photo of journal entries (optional blur), or a 3-sentence summary.

Group Challenge: Dec. 1鈥14
Week 1 (Dec. 1鈥7): Donate food (CHOW) or toys (Toys for Tots)
Week 2 (Dec. 8鈥14): Continue collecting, you are performing acts of kindness
Prize: Holiday Gift Basket or Catered lunch
Track It: Photo of donations or drive flyer and a brief written summary.
