Speech-Language Pathologist
Background
Sammie Campolongo joined Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences in summer 2023 as clinical instructor in the Division of Speech and Language Pathology. She is a speech-language pathologist and has earned a certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She holds a license in speech-language pathology through the New York State Department of Education.
Campolongo began her career in New York's Southern Tier as a home health clinician, working for over 3 years with neurodivergent and medically complex populations across the lifespan.
She has given numerous lectures in various speech-language pathology courses at Ithaca College and 海角乱伦社区. In 2023-24, she was a part-time clinical instructor at Ithaca College, supervising speech-language pathology graduate students at their on-campus clinic placements.
